Then EXACTLY What Type of "Inputs" Are You Referring To?

And how old is the computer? Make and model, etc.?

Here before all else, we would clean the dust from inside the computer, then clean out all the junk files, especially Temp files, temporary internet files, and all but the most recent restore points, etc., then run the following from an elevated command line: chkdsk /f /r /x. This tells us "at least" we've got the data cleaned and optimized on the hard drive. If the random stuff continues, then we can look elsewhere.

Hope this helps.

Some clarification

pc is 3-4 months old, custom built, motherboard by asus. the inputs i have noticed are the following, d, alt, f1, alt+f9, left mouse click, enter. ignored ones are alt+f4 ctrl+alt+del. what do you mean by temp files? what junk files should i be looking for? install wizards and such?
