random crack in screen

We seem to have developed some kind of crack in the inner screen but no one has touched the TV other than I had kids programmes on whilst playing with my son and his toys and then my partner took him to bed and I changed channel (as you do) and sat down and when I looked up I had a massive green mark down one side and some along the bottom and what seemed like a crack and as I say nothing has hit it and no one has been in all day so it's a fault the TV has caused. Trying to contact lg seems like its harder than finding a yeti
