ram upgrade

I have an HP Pavillion a4310f desktop pc with 4gb memory.
I am trying to ascertain how much memory I can add to this computer. All I have found on HP website is it has sockets for 2x240 pin DIMM3's.
As usual, I don't understand this completely, but any assistance would be appreciates.
I apologize if I am taking too much space on CNET Forums, but I have inherited a small amount of cash and wish to spend some to upgrade my pc.

They usually have the machine all figured out so we don't have to do much else.

Be sure you know why you need more than 4GB. It rarely adds speed past that amount.
