Nov 15, 2012 3:52AM PST

I just got given an old compaq presario 5441 desktop with windows 98. It only has 56 megs of ram, crucial says it can hold 384. But of course crucial doesn't carry it? Does anyone know of a source where I could get it? or atleast what kind it needs crucial only says non-ECC.

But I suggest against this as you can find better machines in to free section of craigslist and freecycle.com

You could try sites such as Newegg.com or Zipzoomfly. You could also check local tech shops to see if they might have some laying around, for the most part it is obsolete. If you find it at one of the sites it is likely going to be fairly pricey but good luck!
