I'm not sure what OS you're using. but on the windows platform. from '98 and up I think, there is a very simple way to do this. Go to the control panel and open the system tools or just System, depending on what version of windows you are running. Now what you are looking for is called Virtual Memory. It's usually under the Advanced menu. Look through all the tabs until you find Virtual memory under one of them.
Most prebuilt computers come with this already enabled.
But anyways, it should say something about the total paging file sze for all drives and hav a button called "Change". Naturally, you're gonna click on change. Now it will display all the currently selected properties and the different adjustments you can make.
