Ram

How many ram slots does a hp dv3t laptop have? I know you can upgrade it to 8 gigs of ram, but I was wondering if you would need four 2 gig ram sticks or there is 4 gig ram sticks out there? If there are 4 gig mobile ram sticks out there, please do tell me where?

chips out their and I've seen them less then 100.00. They are still relatively expensive. I've been shopping for a laptop now and the most memory that i've seen is 6 gig on systems. One limitation with most new laptops is they can expand to 8 gig but only can read around 6.8 gig just like the 32 bit issue with reading 4 gig. The limitation is more from bios then 64 bit.
