Since you can't find the feature are you sure it does this?

Again.

With some dozen Magix titles and versions it's a shame there is no manual members can read to see if this feature is there.

But then you claim it has it so what is the question again?

A tip.

If you want answers you have to tell more. I noted there are so many Magix titles and versions that we first have to figure out what you have before we can discuss it.

It appears you want answers without supplying details.

I fear your answers won't be here without you helping others help you.

Answer
The manual doesn't mention anything about it?

I don't recall whether this can be done automatically or not but it certainly can be done by increasing or decreasing the volume of individual songs before combine the whole thing. But doing this sometime has its drawback though, the songs might loose it's dynamic range.

As I have said before,

it has been awhile since I use the program. But as I recalled, when you import the song into the prgram, you can see the picture and you can increase or decrease the amplitude of the song/s. Give that a look. By-the-way, which version do you have?

Version 18 (probably the newest).

I would think automatic normalize feature would be in there. But personally, Just like the "noise reduction" feature, I didn't think it was all that great (manually was good enough for me).

Did I like it?

I think the latest version I use was 10. At that time my main purpose was to convert my tapes and records to cd. But as a noise reduction tool, it was not all that great. Go ahead and try it..you will know what I mean. Of course newer version may use different method which may be better than what I had use (I don't know). As far as converting all my tapes and records to cd, it did the job for me ok.

I don't have this program but after a quick look, I'm guessing if you hit the edit button you may find normalize either in the preset menu or in your Tools menu.

I noticed you mentioned, "raising the volume with magix...".
If your trying to raise the volume look for a "Amplify" type preset.

I use Audacity, if I was trying to increase volume I would probably choose it's "Amplify" effect over "Normalize".
