Give us more Rafe! He's smart, informative, witty, and he really complements Tom... He (and Jason) should be the new members of BOL...

He fits very well because he actually has an opinion on things and isn't afraid to state it. I don't mind him as a sub, but I still would love to see a week in review show with Tom, Molly, Rafe, and Jason (if he wants to participate).

As long as he backs off the political sub-texts

My praise of Rafe isn't quite as unqualified.

Rafe ain't no Daily Kos or Huffington Post shill, but he does pull BOL - more specifically Tom - ever so slightly into a political direction. Not just politics per se but social commentary, etc.

Its extremely subtle, but its there. Pre-Rafe BOL has been adamantly non-political, even when talking about political issues. That's one reason I really really really really love BOL, as a respite from political subtext that dominates nearly everything.

But he is a smart guy, with a talent for talking on air, him and Tom have a great rapport. Overall I think he's a great addition to the show.
