It's your power options properties and make never turn off monitor. I had that problem before with the 9200SE.
Can anyone help?
I have recently configured all my PCs to shut down everything except RAM, either with a press of the 'sleep' keyboard button or after 45mins of inactivity.
All wake-up properly, with a touch of the start button, EXCEPT the PC with a Radeon 9200SE graphics card.
That machine appears to boot up, the monitor lights show green for a few seconds then revert to amber (no signal) so I have blank screens although the PC is running.
The only way out then is a hard reboot.
OS is Windows XP Home. Power management in BIOS set for S1 & S3.
All other PCs, with same OS but different graphics cards all come out of sleep mode perfectly so it must be the Radeon.
What am I missing or do I have to change the card?
Thanks for any help you can give.
