Your laptop has firmware protection by entering the passwords you're able to continue. In most cases, once entered into the firmware you can't defeat it unless in an "authorized service center". There are two areas of firmware, the bios and the security chip. If the R&R is part of the bios itself, then removing the bios/CMOS battery can return the bios defaults back. Otherwise, if on the security chip, you have to remove or piggy-back a rom burner to repgm. or remove the chip iteself. If there is another way via s/w, then the service center isn't going to give that away. I suggest you hack your way out by entering all possible "miscues" you may have entered when you started this password business, maybe a capital letter or space, etc., got inputted, retry again, again, again. OH, if you looking for a master password, google away, there maybe one, but I find that rarely works, unless you're the only user of the laptop.
I added a password to Rescue and Recovery function (activated by pressing BLUE button labled as'Access IBM').
I do remeber the password but the system is not accepting now. How can I reset the password so as to activate Rescue and Recovery facility (Reset back the system to it's factory setting).
Here are System details.
