Quicken Basic 2007 installation problems.

I have had for almost one year now a Dell Inspiron 1300 notebook. Yesterday I purchased Quicken Basic 2007 from Office Depot; brought it home and installed it. During the installation process Quicken placed several shortcuts on my desktop; the main shortcut allows me to access the Quicken which I did last night with no problems.

I will say this it's quite an upgrade from Quicken Basic 2001 which I have installed on an old desktop PC which I can almost use blindfolded but this Quicken Basic 2007 will take me some time in getting use to. It was like going from IE6 to IE7; I didn't like IE7 so I switched back to IE6.

Now tonight I attempted to open up my Quicken Basic 2007 through the shortcut Quicken placed on my desktop. I couldn't open it up. I received an error message which I should have written down before submitting this post but I didn't; the message said something like the file couldn't be located on my computer. Should I uninstall the Quicken Basic 2007 which was installed last night then reinstall it?
Feedback from anyone who might know would certainly be appreciated.
