Quicken 2004

Aug 9, 2006 9:01AM PDT

Sometime on July 21st my computer lost my Quicken data banking files. I subscribe to the Quicken back up service so I was certain that they could restore my files. I cannot get this resolved - eith their web site gives me a remedy that doesn't work, or I cointact Iron Mountain and speak to someone in India who is quite polite, but does not have any authority and cannot help. I was told during one call that Quicken did have my files through July 4th, but all I can get are files dating back to March 2005 and back to 1995. If I could get the files up to July 4th I can patch the information up to the present. Can someone please give me a name and a number at Intuit? I am really upset because I have been paying for the back up service and now that I need them they are not helpful. Steve - Kennebunk, Maine

So why do people backup?

To trust backups to external companies seems to be the issue here. Didn't everyone learn their lesson?
