The unit will qualify for warranty repairs in the country it was intended in.
So.. a Canadian unit can't repaired in the U.S.
A U.S. unit can't be repaired in Canada.
Now, if you have friends all over the world, this may help a little. The U.S. service center can only ship to addresses in the U.S., and Canada will ship only to Canadian addresses. So if you know someone who would ship it in the respective country in the event it needs to be serviced, well, I'll leave it at that.
Some retailers may offer a warranty above and beyond that which may not have a regional boundary, and the terms and conditions are up to them, but that also may be an avenue to explore if you're wanting coverage for the unit.
I probably know the answer to this question but just to make sure,
I'm going to Seattle in about a month, and I'm planning to buy the samsung p3 because I'm going to be leaving soon and I want to buy it before then.
However, is warranties on Samsung mp3's worldwide or is it just to the region you buy it in?
Simply put, if I buy it in the United States, can I still get AS in Canada?
