Question

Quick access to turn LG TV screen (only) off?

Feb 2, 2018 12:41PM PST

I have a 2017 LG OLED TV. I often stream music to it and don't need the display on. There's a way to turn it off, but it's really deep in the menus. (I don't have it in front of me, but I think it's buried in "All Settings - Energy Saver" then click a few options and select "Screen Off" or something.)
Does anyone know if theres a quick way to do this?

Yeah, that's kind of the direction I was going for another reason.. that is.. i have a Optical-only audio system, and I can't control the volume with anything but the factory remote for that. So I guess I'll be killing 2 birds with one stone if I get a Harmony. (Actually, I have a really old one, so I'll try that first.. once I find it... ) . I was trying to avoid yet another remote, but if it means I can put at least one of the others in a drawer, it's a win.

Thanks again.
