but I do have a friend that has been doing quite a bit of work with banks the last few years.
With the end of support of Windows XP, has been switching them over to Red Hat Linux.
That's all I know though.
Might be worth a look...
Digger
I am doing research for potentially using some big data solutions for a small to mid-sized bank. Size of all databases at this time is around 3-6 terabytes, with room to grow to potentially 10 terabytes over next 5 years. Anyone have an idea as to how many people would be required to administer each of the following?
-IBM Cognos
-Angoss
-Microsoft APS
-Cloudera
-Straight Hadoop
Also, I am trying to find pricing estimates along with possible feedback on your experiences for said solutions.
Thanks in advance for all of your feedback!
