Questions for someone familiar with using IE9....

Feb 3, 2013 11:35AM PST

I am looking for opinions re taking the following actions on my Windows 7 64-bit IE9 computer.....and if there are any disadvantages or problems to look for if I do so.

1. Enabling ActiveX Filtering ?

2. Enabling Tracking Protection ?

Please no recommendations to change browsers as I am very happy with IE9 and have been able to find a solution to any related problems.

My thanks.....Miki

I understand what enabling ActiveX Filtering and Tracking protection accomplish.......I just need to know if there are any undesirable ramifications on the computer that need to be considered..

I don't think there are any negative consequences. But if you notice one, it's easy to undo.
