Questions about iPod

I don't know a whole lot about the iPods right now, and I was wondering just what the iPod can do.
Is it possible to put music and movies from off of your computer on to one, or do you have to use iTunes? Thanks!

Of course you can. For example I use MelodyCan software to put my video and audio files to my iPod touch. I choice this prog not just for iPod but also MelodyCan converts different audio and video file formats quickly and in very good quality. So you use only one prog which help you in different way. As for me it very comfortably.
