Questions about DC50 DVD Camera

by mekovi / December 27, 2007 9:03 AM PST

Hi I'm thinking about buying the Canon DC50 DVD camera, but I have some questions.
Is that camera good enough to be used to shoot a movie?
I want to get as close to the film look as possible.
Is it possible to shift focus or tweak the depth of field with a Canon DC50 or do I have to buy a 35mm adapter for that? Is a 35mm adapter even available for Canon DC50?

If the things mentioned above aren't possible with a Canon DC50 DVD Camera, can you please suggest a camera under $600 that can do the job?

Please respond, it will be really helpful for me if you could take your time to answer the questions.

Ok. What MiniDV camera should I use then? I am willing to expand my budget to $900 to $1000 if required. I still want the features in mentioned in my first post.

Thanks

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
