Too New, Are You Seeing An Error Message..
by Grif Thomas Forum moderator / May 3, 2005 10:25 AM PDT
In reply to: Question? wmplayer.exe

It's possible that you have spyware or a virus which is causing an error. If so, please tell us the error message and if you've scanned for malware.

"wmplayer.exe" is the Windows Media Player and that file should reside at this path: "C\Program Files\Windows Media Player\wmplayer.exe"

If it's not there, then you'll need to reinstall Windows Media Player. Depending on your computer, if you're using Windows ME, you probably have downloaded version 7.1 or 9. Here is a link where you should be able to download either one:

Hope this helps.

WHEN Does The Message Pop Up?

Are you trying to open Windows Media Player? Or does it just open up on it's own?

Let us know how it goes.
