Question to the site veterans

by YATG / April 12, 2008 9:48 AM PDT

Would I be wrong to reply to unresolved postings that I could connect to their computers remotely and fix most of these issues for $25.99?

If you don't know, the members here share their fixes so we all save ourselves from the usual trip to the shop.

And the forum policy does forbid you posting "I'll fix that for money" in this forum.

... are you allowed to post a small advert (for a small fee) at the corner newspaper/confectionery shop (or such) ? Or maybe a small notice at the rear screen of your car...? Give out "business cards" to passing public, or place them under the wiper arm on parked cars ?...Be prepared to be SWAMPED with calls...
