Question on the Cowon iAudio X5

Jun 26, 2005 7:27AM PDT

Hello all

I have every intention to purchase the new Cowon iAudio X5. I love the fact that it can play MPEG-4 Video,
But i have a question stemming directly from that.
Since the X5 can play Mp4 video, can it also play Mp4 Audio? I have a good deal of music from Apple's iTunes program that is in said Mp4 format, and i would rather not go through all the mucking about in file conversion. but I will do that if it is needed
And if it is, what is a good program for converting Mp4 files into a more acceptable format?
And, on another note, is my Windows Xp computer just calling those files Mp4 when they are really AAC?
thanks for your help, whoever you are
