What is published is likely for all the models of that make and model and yours could be a later model with undocumented features. Not unusual at all.
If the BIOS, windows reports it, then you are done.

Hi,
My Fujitsu Lifebook CS 5235 laptop's specs say that
the maximum supported ram is 192MB (64 non removable +
128MB addon). All the mmemory upgrade sites also state
192MB as the max ram (PC100). I recently installed a
256MB ram stick into the add on slot. The laptop booted fine and Windows(XP) correctly reported 320MB as the
memory. I am confused. Is this genuine? Is my laptop
really benefitting from this upgrade or I am being
fooled? I will appreciate any helpful comment.
