General discussion

question on configuration manager

using windows me and when i put in my password and get on start page i get a sign saying

configuration manager could not be loaded.

i am lost.

Do you have Odigo Messenger?

If so, it is probably in your startup programs folder or in the run section of the registry
Try running it manually and see what happens - you may need to resave some settings - if that doesn't work reinstal
You can view what is loaded at startup by clciking on start/run then type in the box
Look in the statup folder - you will probably see an entry for the program - unless you have cable and you are connected all the time there is no need to have it starting when you start windows - so disable it - and that goes for all the other items in the folder - unless you need them waiting for you after startup disable them and only load them when needed.
