Question on 1983 model JVC VidCam

by Freedomrydr / September 27, 2010 4:36 AM PDT

I am in process of collecting replicas of ALL photo and video equipment I have used in my lifetime! A major task, but it is going well so far, and with the advances in technology, the cost has been reasonable, at about .05 to.10 on a dollar from original costs!

That said, I have one unit that I cannot remember the details for. I have researched all the pertinent websites and crawlers I can, but to no avail, so I am hoping to tap the knowledge base to get the model, so I can begin the search. Of course if you know where to find it as well, it would be appreciated.

The unit is a JVC vidcam, purchased new in 1983, which was partnered with a JVC HR-2200 Video Cassette Recorder. It was a 'prosumer' model, shoulder mount with a built-in character generator. I believe it used a single vidicon pickup tube.
It had a 1" B/W monitor/viewer, which was removable for connection of a studio monitor. I don't remember too much else about it.

If you know what it is, or have a guess that I can research, you can reply here.

Thanks for the help!

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
