Question of canon sd line

I am very interested in the canon sd200, but I have heard the sd elph line has had lcd issues? Is this true and if so how frequently does this happen? My second choice is the panasonic DMC lz1, does anyone knwo of any alternatives that are an ultra comnpact camera, atleast 3 megapixels, don't really care about manual features. Needs to be less than 220. thanks

Canon SD Line

There have been incidents where LCDs have broken.
Most of the reports that I saw were for SD400 and SD500.

How frequent?
Only Canon knows.
But probably less than 1 to 2 %.

Ultra thin cameras for under $220...
Not many available.
Rule of thumb.....the smaller the camera..the more the price.
