Question for T-mobile customers

Aug 28, 2005 2:19AM PDT

Hi everyone,

I've had T-Mobile for a year now. I am using a Motorola V300. I'm not impressed with the signal. Does anyone else have problems with a signal from T-Mobile? Does anyone know how to fix it or boost the signal?

Thank you very much..

well I have had T-mobile for 2 years and I have a problem with reception too but I purshased the Motorola v330(an upgrade from yours) and it works alittle bit better than my motorola v188 on reception but in some areas T-mobile doesnt work so well but you get what you pay for and t-mobile is one of the cheapest services. and if you are unlucky but still want to keep your t-mobile cervice you should get an antenna booster on http://www.alternativewireless.com/cellular-antennas/antennaadvice.html

Good Luck,

I have a co-worker who has a Samsung phone and he complains about reception having a lot of static & overloaded circuits. The Chicago market is one of T-Mobile's markets that they can't keep up with demand like Verizon Wireless has and Cingular 2nd. From what people have told me, T-Mobile isn't worth the money if certain markets are well maintained. I like the plans, but their lack of rural coverage and inadequate city & suburban coverage has kept me from their service.

When I lived on a military post in GA, there were no signal towers anywhere close by, and I had to be outside, standing at a 237 degree azimuth, with the phone's antennae pointed at a precise 42 degree angle to get a measly 2 bars. You may laugh, but it's certainly what it felt like to have make a call! Now that I'm in the ''real world'' I don't feel that I've had any issues, although there are some odd ''dead'' zones around town on particular roadways.
