Question about secure connections

Feb 26, 2005 12:42AM PST

Hi,

I have recently bought a Toshiba A60-122 notebook and a LinkSys router. I connected my desktop pc to the router through the wire and the notebook to the router without wires. My USB DSL modem is connected to the desktop pc. I would like to know how can I make this connection secure and make sure that no one with wireless devices will be able to see my files and access the internet. How can I implement a password on the LAN?

Thanks.
