arice727,
The manual and remote bag having been unsealed would have been the first indication that you received a previously opened unit.
I'm not positive about the plastic bezel protector, but it should come with a professionally wrapped bag, and sealed instruction/remote bag and most ship with bezel stickers in retail; I'm not positive they would be there for Amazon units, but I wouldn't be surprised if they were.
If the unit has a bright red sticker on it, that simply indicates that a firmware update was performed on the unit before it left the factory, and is still considered factory sealed. The difference being the sticker.
I can't imagine Amazon would send you another unit that was previously opened. However, stranger things have happened.
Keep me posted.

Last week I ordered a Samsung LCD (LN40A550) from Amazon. It arrived today, and as I was unpacking it, I immediately noticed a large scratch among many smaller marks along the top of the frame. I also noticed that the plastic bag containing the manual and remote was unsealed. For anyone that has recently purchased a Samsung, do they typically come with any sort of plastic covering over the frame similar to what Sony uses? Or, are there any stickers on the frame or other identifiers that might clue me in as to whether or not this TV was a previous return? I'd like to get some idea so I know what to look for when the replacement arrives from Amazon.
