I would also like to know this... it happens on my LE40B530, and from what I have read it happens on several models.
Could a Samsung rep please comment?
I've noticed on the Samsung LN32B460, if Game Mode is engaged and Edge Enhancement is set of "Off", then whenever the TV is switched off and back on (or when the input source changes), the Flesh Tone setting is always set to -15, regardless of what it previously was set to. This also switches Edge Enhancement back to "On"
After this happens, I can go in and change the Flesh Tone color and Edge Enhancement settings back, but they will still get changed to -15 and On if the above conditions happen again.
If Edge Enhancement is set to "On", then the system behaves as expected and the Flesh Tone settings stick to their last user-set value, while the Edge Enhancements setting obviously remains set to "On".
I don't see what Flesh Tone has to do with Game Mode processing. That and the fact the Flesh Tone setting is still edittable in Game Mode, and the fact that the reset only occurs if Edge Enhancement is set to "Off" leads me to believe that this might be a bug in the Firmware.
I have found a similar post here, but it received no answer:
From the post:
" a few settings reset, can it be fixed?
I run this unit in game mode since i use it primarily as a monitor and the computers analog audio reaches the speakers faster than whats displayed on screen. the delay is somewhat acceptable when i have game mode on and i have adjusted the picture quality to my liking in this mode but two options revert after a while or after a power cycle. they are "flesh tone" and "edge enhancement". flesh tone changes to -15 from 0 and edge enhancement will turn itself back on when i want it left off. will there be a firmware update to fix this?"
This post also shows that the same problem is happening in both the B460 and the B550 models. The firmware in my B460 tv is 1015. Will there be an update to fix this problem?
