question about keyboards

Oct 31, 2006 5:54PM PST

I currently have a dell RT7D50 and the reason I like it is because it has two back feet that flip up and keep the keyboard at an angle. I was wondering how I can find out if other keyboards have this feature? I'm looking to buy a new keyboard and I like Logitech's G15.

At many stores they'll put the keyboards up on display and you can touch them plus check for this feature.

i think almost all keyboards will have that flip thing? its pretty standard and i have used many keyboards and i dont ever remember encountering one that didn't.. even the macs have a special kind of swivel to prop it up. so if your buying a special keyboard like that logitech G15 and not just a standard Dell issue keyboard or something, i'm pretty sure something that simple will be included.. but like ^ said, it doesnt hurt to go out to the stores cuz keyboards are usually all put on display so customers can get a feel for it

I can't recall ever finding a recent kybd. that didn't have "drop feet/pads" that increased the angle. So, in this regard I'm pretty sure you'll find them on whatever you buy excluding some extreme kybd., like the roll-up type(water-pruf). All in all, I don't think you'll have a problem finding a kybd. w/o the feet.
