I just purchased a new samsung led 46" 3d tv. I used to have a standard lcd hd sharp. Yes, i do know what you are talking about. When I watch programs in 2D, The new samsung produces a real time home video look on everything...i actually do know if i like it better than my old regular Hd lcd picture. I sometimes feel like it takes away from the natural look of tv programs and over enhances the picutre? I was wondering if this was an improvement in picture quality or just a difference in how the picture is displayed. I know i didnt answer the original question but just added to it.

Real time home video look on your TV

is actually achieved by setting the Auto Motion Plus in the TV's Picture Menu/Picture Options/Auto Motion Plus.
Several settings are possible depending how "real life" you want your image to be.
