Question

Quake 3 Team Arean Installation issues

May 24, 2014 1:12AM PDT

I have always installed Quake 3 Arena on window 7 64 bit
now it would not install it tells me this.

Quake 3 Team Arena Requires A Valid installation Of Quake 3 Arena. Please Install Quake 3 Arena. Set up will now exit.
Any Idea what is going on I bought this game a while ago new, what could have happened.
The computer is still the same setup as what I had it last on the last installation.
Help Please.

The set up that is on my computer is still the same as it was before. Could somebody have switched the disc on me and that is why it is not coming up as a legal installation or legal software.
That is the only message I get, Unless when I saved everything that is on my computer and put it back in the folder which I got all the rest of my saves from. Could that be my problem..

Your top post error message is not what I've seen before. And the cure is the same as before for me. I install the first game again and then the add on.

Some folk want to know why this happens. Since I don't run your PC I can't know that.
