Question

Q: Address Book Functionality that I had in Outlook

Apr 11, 2013 5:44AM PDT

All,

I have a question about a piece of functionality that I'd welcome your feedback / suggestions on how best to solve. Here's the background - I'd been a long time user of Microsoft Outlook / Entourage. I used the "Reminders" flag in a contact, so that I could set to pop up on a given date to remind me to call that person.

I moved everything over to Mac OSX, and am using the built in Calendar, Address Book and Mail applications. I'm using the Mail Tags application in Mail, but it does not have any reminder functionality for Address Book.

I have not been able to replicate that single piece of functionality, and have not seen anything on the market that might satisfy this requirement.

Does anyone have any suggestions or workarounds? Is there a Get Things Done (GTD) app that has hooks into Address Book / Contacts that would satisfy this?

Any and all help / suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
