PVR Software

by CNetRat / January 15, 2009 12:33 PM PST

WHat is the best PVR software? I am running Vista. I have Pinnacle TV Center Pro, which came with my tuner. For whatever reason, it is a crap shoot as to whether or not scheduled recordings will take place. The WIndows Media center software does not show all channels. I think that it might only be compatible with NTSC or something. ANy help will be gladly appreciated.

While I like the Hauppauge gear the power to run the PC is many times that of my DVR so the DVR is just a DVR.

Yeah, I am thinking of ditching Pinnacle and going with a different brand. All of the software I tried to download last night didn't work.
I do not have a tv. Just a computer. So, a good software/hardware combo is what I need.

One of the best French door fridges we've tested

A good-looking fridge with useful features like an auto-filling water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It was a near-flawless performer in our cooling tests.
