I don't think you can use...

Windows Media Player to sync music to an iPhone. I use iTunes for Windows. iTunes can be downloaded from here on CNET or from Apple's site. It's not as bad as some would make it seem, in my opinion. Hope this helps you out.

I tried downloading iTunes for Windows and keep getting this error message: "the older version of apple software update can't be removed. Please contact your technical support group." Do you know of any software whereas I convert my windows media music to fit iPod or iPhone?

already in MP3 Format? If so, no conversion is necessary. To try to help you with the error message, I went to Apple's Customer Support and there is a set way to uninstall all of iTunes' features.

Beyond this, this is all I can think of trying. I really hope this helps you out.
