Question

Put new power supply on pc, getting alarm and restart.

Oct 21, 2018 3:49AM PDT

I just replaced a bad 700w power supply with a new 750w. Power supply is a Corsair CX750M, I used the new cables that came with it and hooked them up 1 at a time so no mistakes were made. When I power up, the motherboard lights come on and I get a long string of rapid beeps and it shuts down and restarts, repeating the same cycle.

I had no power at all. As if it were unplugged. I even tried to jump the black to green to get fan going. Absolutely nothing happened.

Psu + mobo + cpu/hsf.
Nothing else connected or plugged in.
If it won't power up and stay up your down to 3 parts.
