Question

Purchasing ultrabook help

Mar 20, 2015 10:51AM PDT

I've been looking to get a relatively portable laptop for uni and have been shopping around but am kind of clueless as to what's best for price and performance.

The first contender at the moment is the Thinkpad X1 Carbon gen 2, Lenovo is doing some student discount thing and I get $900 off it. But I've been looking at others and there are some laptops (Dell Xps 13, Acer Aspire S7, ect) that have better specs at a similar price to the discounted Lenovo.

I'm looking for a 13-14 inch laptop in the price range of $1000-1500, any help or advice on what's best would be greatly appreciated.
