Question

Purchasing Microsoft Office 2013

Feb 3, 2014 11:42AM PST

Is better to purchase Microsoft Office 2013 Home/Business from Microsoft (paying a little more having Microsoft name guarantee) or go thru 3rd party retailer (get better price but may sacrifice unknown future repair/replacement/loss issues) ??
What do you recommend?.

Thank you.

Answer
MS Office

As long as it is a legitimate MS Windows disk, it matters not. BUT I want it on disk, I do NOT want the coded in variant or the download, no matter who from. Personally I prefer, for my purposes, Open/Libre Office over MS Office, it is a free open source download that incorporates many and most of the features of MS Office. I have MS Office suite as well but rarely use it. IMOP the older versions of Office were better, in some respects than the later variations.

You better safely store your registration

Without disc like formerly bought at a store, you are basically left losing the system if it messes up and you don't have your registration information available so you can download it all over again.
