and possibly the best, free, software is CDBurnerXP but whether that is suitable and how you do this depends on a number of factors, so can you tell us more?
1] What is the OS, (Operating System), on this computer working?
2] What make and model computer and what OS?
3] Does this computer have a CD Burner drive, eg a drive that is CDR/RW. If so, does that drive work?
4] Does this computer have USB ports? If so, a USB stick might be easier and quicker than burning to CD.
Photos are just files with a file extension of .BMP or .JPG, or .TIFF, so you could search your OS for all .bmp, .jpg, .tiff files, and then copy them to a USB stick.

Hello! I am so glad I found this forum! I have an older computer that I want to get all the photos off of and place on cd's. Is there software that I can install that will "draw" or "pull" all photos off the harddrive that are there and then burn them to cd.
Thanks!
