Longer answer the IP would have to be routed to by your ISP and in their block pool.
I can't hold classes on basic IP networking but this is something your ISP must explain in longer detail or your IT lead. In fact, with that many servers, what happened to your IT staff?
I'm running an office network with rack servers + Cisco switch with WiMAX based internet. I have a few services for which I'm using a block of 5 public ip's (exchange, lync, vpn, etc) My q is, if I change isp can I continue using the public ips I have from them while using my new isp's net connection to broadcast these services online?
Thx
