Question

PSU help.

Oct 18, 2013 7:02AM PDT

I'm replacing my GTX 480 with a GTX 660 ( EVGA ) And I've noticed the 660 only takes one 6 pin PSU cord. However, I have a 2 6pin ( and one 2 pin ) cord. Do I need to get a new cord or will one of the 6 pins give the proper voltage?

The 480 is a 250w unit......it needs 2 aux power cables.

The 660 is a 140w unit......it needs 1 aux power cable.

Do I need to get a new cord or will one of the 6 pins give the proper voltage?
It should.
