Connecting Wi-Fi

Ah, you're endeavours prove you to be highly aspirational.. heh he

j/k well, just figured I would write you a response since nobody else around here has for the past two days and you must feel like a reject by now, but that's neither here nor there..

I would start by doing a search online for PSP and wi-fi connection. You may come up on various articles that show you how to connect and the purpose it may serve, like browsing the web. Mostly maybe to transfer files to/from a pc though, like pictures and maybe movie clips, I don't know. I don't even have a psp but that's usually what I would expect from a device with wi-fi.

Plus, I don't know how convenient web-browsing would be without a mouse or a keyboard. How are you going to type in ur name and passwords for like say, your email account?? Sounds like a hassle to me, I'd rather use the PSP as a gaming/movie device.

Cheers!

Connecting

You are asking about connecting your PSP to a Wifi connection at home? Well first do you have an access point which is the device that will transmit the signal from your dsl/cable modem to your wireless devices?

If you don't have one yet, do a search on CNet to find a top rated model and purchase one. Next setup the access point. Most people opt to not secure their wirless connections. The least you can do is change the default password so that you don't have anynone coming in and resetting your settings.

After that you can connect your PSP to your wireless access point. Like the second poster here mentions the PSP is best for online gaming. You can surf the web but it is rather cumbersome.
