psc photosmart turns on but doesn't continue

HP PSC 2410 PHOTOSMART ALL IN ONE

ok i press the on button, the HP invent LOGO comes on the screen (LCD) along with an hour glass, i hear sounds, like it's initializing but then said noise stops but the ON light keeps blinking, hour glass still on screen

left it for 2 hrs, came back, on light still blinking, hour glass still shows on screen (LCD)....help!
