[PS4] Tritton mic issue

Hi there,

I might be on the wrong website to ask about this topic but i will ask it anyway ; I've been having some problems with my tritton 720+ mic cause it doesnt properly work. Everything is fine through my headphones but my mic doesnt register my voice. the only thing that i hear when i test it is a low static sound when its unmuted. Im on a console at the moment and my friends were complaining cause my mic was going crazy at a few times, really loud noices.

My mic is removable from the headphones and it worked fine until yesterday. I tried restarting my console, swapping settings, unplugging my mic and the power of my headphones.

Long story short, i think im ****** but i couldve missed something. Would love some help!

Much love,

To figure this out.

You have to have another Tritton to swap with. It is rarely something you have done, just these things die from time to time. My son has swapped 3 headsets out under warranty. He doesn't change make since he likes what he has. But he has learned to keep receipts and how to exchange when it fails.

Hi R.Proffitt,

Thank you for the reaction, swapping between headsets sounds practical but where do you get the headset without all the other parts? I tried searching on the web but i can only buy it with a box.

You ask a good question

But these devices are not being sold piece part wise. So my son packs it back in the box and they hand him a new boxed unit. We don't have two of the same make and model but we try another unit and that's how we know it's failed again.

If you feel they should sell parts, contact the maker.
