I have my PS3 hooked up to my LN46A500 Samsung TV via HDMI and am having an issue with the TV recognizing the system. I have to turn on the PS3 for the TV to allow me to access my HDMI2 connection (unlike my Wii and cable box, which are recognized whether on or off). Once the PS3 is on and the TV is set to HDMI2 it tells me there is no signal. What I have found is that if I turn the PS3 on, switch to HDMI2, then unplug the PS3 and plug it back in, everything works perfectly fine. No problems what so ever. It's just a pain in the butt to get to to display the signal.
Anybody have any clue on how to fix this problem?
I'll be getting an AV receiver with 4 HDMI inputs soon and will run all of my devices through there. Think that will solve the problem?
