ps3 for gaming Samsung 67 dlp rear projection or 52 lcd

Sep 10, 2008 9:54AM PDT

Any clear cut conclusive information as to which provides the best possible gaming pictures as well as blu-ray and HD tv viewing. Primarily used for ps3 gaming 2nd for HD tv viewing. I have connected my ps3 to a 52" samsung lcd and got stunning graphics but a bit of maybe ghost images / sorta motion sickness. I have an older rear projection I usually play games on and graphics are fine but I was considering the 67" Samsung 7 series rear projection DLP (my older rear projection does not have HDMI or support 1080p only 1080i and it's a 57"). I know everybody has an opinion but are there any conclusive results overall which provides the best gaming graphics (new rear projection or new lcd's)?

has very good motion. if you hear about RBE, IMO its pretty overstated to say the least. on a 200" front projection, ok maybe.

I believe they sell that at costco btw.

the main issue I have with those tv's is that the IR is smack in the middle. but now that I see how cheap RF remotes can be had for, I would do in that in such a case. if audio is important to you

However not on the DLP or the LCD. I went with the 58" Samsung Plasma. Just got it home a few hours ago.

I almost pulled the trigger on the HL67A750 67-Inch 1080p LED Powered DLP HDTV a couple weeks back, on sale for a paltry $2000 (http://www.everythinghdtv.com/deals/610) .. I talked myself out of it and into waiting for the perfect deal on a 52" LCD 1080p @ 120Hz .. I think the Toshiba 52XV545U is the tv for me when its released this month..
