The battery is only a 300 cycle model that you get a few years of use from. I can't tell if you replaced that.
I've scoured the web going on days now trying to find a solution to no avail: I've tried every suggestion that I've come across and still don't know what to do.
My PS3 controller won't charge (or at least that's what I figure is going on as no lights on the thing illuminate). I originally thought it was a problem with the USB cable as my other controller doesn't show any signs of life, but my wife told me this has happened before, randomly, and has started working after continually shutting down/starting the system. That hasn't worked. I've pressed (and pressed and held) the reset button, switched USB ports, connected it to my PC (and did the suggested repetitive plugging/unplugging), opened it up and re-set the battery.
Has anyone had this issue before? Is there a solution that I've not mentioned that has worked for you? It may just as randomly start up again, but until it does, I can't play games/watch YouTube/Netflix.
