Ps3 Connecting to Wifi Problem Please Read

Okkk So ive been sitting behind my computer for 3 hours trying to resolve this im hosting a wlan Server on my computer through a vpn amd i can connect with my phone and use it no problem but my ps3 keeps erroring it finds the network and i type in the correct WPA-PSK / WPA2-PSK Password but then i THE ERROR (A connection to the access point could not be established. Check the security settings for the wireless Lan) Im pissed. ?? i get ddos alot and thought it would be time for a vpn but i hate the wire and foumd the wirless hotspot for windows wlan ??

Now make a normal network without the VPN and as plain as can be using a normal router. You've gone far off the beaten path.

Will not assure you of that. VPNs do not stop DOS attacks. I'm just someone that wrote router code in the 90's so my view is pretty solid on that topic.

VPNs are for other reasons like Geo-location switching and other reasons but will not stop a DOS attack once they found your ISP's assigned IP address.

I don't have your setup particulars but the number of folk losing their mind trying to use Windows as a hotspot makes me write "don't bother." It's not reliable enough except for when you just need it and it works OK for the time you need it. In your case, it's a dead end.
