Sure. I think the problem with people these days, is the focus is only on how a game looks. No one seems to give any consideration to how the game PLAYS.
Games may not look as good on a standard TV vs a HDTV, but it'll still be a step up. In my experience with the Xbox 360, the composite input looked about the same as the PS2 with component cables. So, if the same holds for the PS3, you can expect a modest image quality increase now, and a more profound one once you get an HDTV and can use component/VGA/HDMI video.
I have a question that I hope some people can answer. I want to buy a PS3 however do not own an HDTV, now is it still worth getting regardless of whether or not I have that HDTV? I know the games will look better but I cannot afford an HDTV right now, maybe by Christmas, but I want the PS3 now?
