ps210 dell speaker for netbook problem

Feb 10, 2010 6:05AM PST

I purchased from Dell a new PS 210 external speaker for my mini v10 netbook. Plugged it in with the usb connection and it does not work. Talked to Dell tech support for 2 hrs. They have no clue. Any advise?

Well, that does make the difference. I did not realize the audio cable needed to be plugged into the headset jack. Could have saved myself a lot of time if there were instructions to that effect or if the guy in India could have told me. Thank you so much for your help. Now I feel dumb.

You sought out help elsewhere. That's a smart move.

Glad it worked out.
